That is really a bad policy. If all the Robert Johnson songs were took off this station...people like Axe Masterson would have very few songs on the play list and I think he is great. The Heavily Brothers version of Birdsong was truly one of the greatest covers I have ever heard. I really think that this should change...I miss hearing that song...How about you? And if Axe Masterson's version of .3222 blues is removed from the playlist...I will boycott this station.

I really like the version of the Grateful Dead's Birdsong by The Heavily Brothers. They really made it their own. I really miss hearing that version. Jerry Garcia, who by the way has been dead for 15 years this month, the 9th...and on the 1st he would have been 68 years old. Can you believe Jerry has been gone that long? I was very tired of the music stations in North Carolina, I hate to say it, but I am tired of the same 200 songs. I have seen the Grateful Dead and the various groups born from that band...I have never heard anyone play a song like the Heavily Brothers do on Birdsong. They took it and made it their own. I would not say that about anyone that does not deserve the praise. Thank you for choosing that song and doing the job you do on it. The lead part is so well put together; I know Jerry is smiling somewhere in the universe.  Keep up the great work.
