The genesis of The Lindbergh Baby begins with guitarist and songwriter Scott Broderick and his unique view of American music and history, but the project really started to come together as a band when Broderick hooked up with cult apocalyptic folk act Blood Axis to play drums for their tour. Blood Axis's Michael Moynihan and Annabel Lee, in return, joined Broderick on stage for one of his own shows, filling out his sound with accordeon and violin, respectively, and would go on to collaborate with him on the recording of his debut album,
Hoodwinked
. Completing the lineup are backing vocalist and percussionist Amber Rae and guitarist Herr Kammerer. Together, the five create a sound that's equally inspired by neo-folk and psychedelic Americana, serving as a perfect background to Broderick's occult musings on the dark side of the American experience. Broderick is currently at work on The Lindbergh Baby's second album. Check out their
